This is the home of the Lake Area Goddesses Society, a group of women in the Northwest Indiana/Chicagoland area
who have joined together to learn and share in Goddess Sisterhood. We come from many paths and have many different areas
of experience, but we all share the common desire to join with our sisters and learn about Goddess Spirituality
in a space friendly for women regardless of race or sexual orientation.
We have a email list that you can join to be with us between meetings, to share space if you can't come to meetings and to generally be together
in our cyber home away from home. It's also where we discuss where we're going to meet every month and if there's anything
fun and interesting going on that we want to do something with.
One of the cool things we did in January was to watch Z Budapest's wonderful documentary "Gathering the Goddesses", which
she has been kind enough to post on You Tube, so all women can see it for themselves. We've embedded the first segment here so you can get a taste. It's in six
parts on You Tube.
For our April meeting, we watched a trilogy of documentaries done by Starhawk and several other Goddess women called The Goddess Trilogy.
Alive Mind, who distributes these videos on behalf of the women who worked on them, has been kind enough to supply to us a couple preview videos.

For February 2009 we will be watching this cool new DVD, Women's Power, by Max Dashu. Some excerpts of it are below for you to enjoy. Please join us for this entertaining and enlightening presentation. Details of the meeting are in the Events section.

We now have a section with all kinds of cool multimedia Goddess artwork. Some are minimovies, some are music videos. We are hoping to get some Goddess music mp3 format music, too, so women can enjoy all the fantastic talent we have in the Goddess community.
We now have a video included made by one of our members, documenting her journey to and experience of the Gathering the Goddess 2008 International Women's Festival. Please watch and enjoy! For those of you who have never been to a Goddess Festival like this one, it can show you a little of what being at one is like.
